Morrow Home Community is currently seeking a full-time Cook and Culinary Aide to work in our long-term care facility.
This individual will be scheduled approximately 40 hours per week.
Hours may vary and we offer a flexible schedule which includes having every other weekend and every other holiday off!

Director of Culinary Services
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring temperature, taste and appearance of food meets expectations.
- Serve meals to residents and assist them as needed.
- Knowledgeable on therapeutic diets and altered diet textures and reasons why these diets may be required.
- Coordinates meal and dining room set-up and provides a friendly and welcoming dining atmosphere.
- Maintains clean and sanitary kitchen, storage, and dining areas.
- Follows policy and procedures to maintain food safety.
- Create and maintain effective relationships with staff, residents, and visitors.
- Be aware of and adhere to the Resident Bill of Rights.
- Must be able to provide regular and predictable attendance.
- Must show respect for the residents and the residents’ dietary needs at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of high school preferred.
- Experience or adequate training and in-service in healthcare food service preferred.
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand English at a 10th grade level.
