Morrow Home Community is now hiring for a Casual Call/Part-Time Nurse Tech for all shifts.

The NT provides nursing care under the direct supervision of an RN.

Reports To

Director of Nursing, Nursing Home

Responsibilities

This position will work within the scope of positions supervised and will adhere to the policies, procedures and normal practices of the organization.
Provide basic nursing care and only accept assignments which the NT is competent to perform.
Record nursing care given and report to the RN when there is a change in condition.
Assist with collection of data and charting of data.
Supervision of shift staff in the Nursing Home. Staff may consist of: CNAs and/or UCW’s

Qualifications & Experience

Must be eligible to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility and be listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Aide Directory, with current Federal eligibility.
Must be a Nursing student either currently enrolled in a nursing program leading to registered nurse or practical nurse licensure, or has graduated from the program and does not hold a temporary permit (up to 6 months), or who has been unsuccessful on the nursing licensure exam and is retaking the exam.
Prior experience in Geriatric and/or long term care is preferred, but not required.
