To the Nurses and Staff at The Morrow Home:
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for all your help over the past three years with my late husband Robert Bloom.
To the second floor staff, your countless hours of gratuitous care and true concern for my husband's well being empowered me with the peace of leaving him in your care every evening.
You are all a tremendous asset to your chosen careers and to The Morrow Memorial Home. In my observation, over the past three years, the nurses and staff that assisted us through all our silly happy times, as well as our sad and fearful times, were not in their career field for the money but because they love what they do and how much they are able to help.
I will be forever grateful to all of you that have stood by my side in this milestone in my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the staff at Morrow Home for the loving care and respect that was given to "Papa" John Luther. John never lacked for anything while he lived at Morrow Home. If "Papa" could have expressed it into words, he would have said thank you many times over! We feel he did it in his grins, nods of his head and winks of the eye when he was pleased! Morrow Home staff are angels of caring! Thank you and God Bless you all!

Dear Mr. Bonello:
It is with appreciation that we, Victor Mikkelson's children, write this letter. Four years ago when it was evident that Dad needed nursing home care, we selected the Morrow Home for him. We are so grateful that these last four years of his life on earth could be in a Christian environment where he received exemplary professional and compassionate care.
In these years we have discerned the Morrow Home's nursing and other departmental staff cheerfully interacting with Dad and other residents while fulfilling their care duties. We always found employees treating residents with respect and dignity, recognizing their individuality, and their likes and dislikes.
We know the nursing staff scheduled doctor appointments for Dad when necessary, and he had various therapies when they would be beneficial.
We appreciate that the nursing staff always communicated with us in a timely manner, keeping us informed when any changes in his health would occur. Our inquiries were always answered promptly and courteously whether we asked in person or by long-distance phone calls. One of us in the family would try to attend the regularly-scheduled care conferences for our dad so we could receive updates from all of the departments who contributed to Dad's care. No doubt other families found these conference helpful as well.
It is commendable that there are so many activities and entertainment programs afforded the residents. Some of these, we know, included games, movies, men's breakfast club, picnic, holiday celebrations, and guest musical groups who would come to the Morrow Home to perform. Dad enjoyed participating in many of these and in recent months especially liked the occasions when the young children from the Morrow Home's day care would mingle with the resident "grandpas" and "grandmas." Dad loved children and, due to distance, was unable to see his own grandchildren and great-grandchildren very often. These inter-generational events were special for him.
Good, nutritious meals with generous portions were served every day. We would often eat in the dining room with Dad when we visited him and can attest to the quality and amount of food provided. Also, we noticed that the employees in the dining room were attentive to the residents, friendly, and helpful to them as needed.
Very important to Dad (and thereby to us) were the weekly chapel services held at the Morrow Home with visiting pastors conducting the services. There were occasions on which we attended services with Dad. We were also glad that on-site pastoral care was readily available -- all to Dad's benefit.
Our family has been impressed with the cleanliness, infection control measure, fresh atmosphere, decor and attractiveness of your facility. We are aware of its excellent reputation not only in Sparta but in surrounding areas as well. You and your facility are to be congratulated on your years of successful state inspections! This is something not easily achieved!
We admire the wonderful care given to our father by the nursing staff and other employees, making his last year--and days--as comfortable and pleasant as possible. You and your staff truly make a difference in the lives of every one of your residents. Dad told us on various occasions in the last couple of years that he was "happy" there at the Morrow Home and that he "really liked the people" who worked there--the nursing staff, housekeepers, and many other employees.
We extend heartfelt thanks to all who compassionately cared for our beloved dad in his waning years. We wish you and all of the Morrow Home family an abundance of God's blessings.
